Hi!
I am Sally, a classical flutist from Luxembourg. I really love to combine
different repertoire and styles in my musical journey. Whether it is the
classical flute repertoire, more contemporary music, musical theatre
or big band for example.
So far I gained many different experiences in the orchestral life, such
as playing with the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Luxembourg, the
Orchestre Nationale des Jeuens du Luxembourg, the Military Band
of Luxembourg or the Luxembourg Philharmonic. I also like to play
in amateur ensembles, such as in the local wind band of Schieren or as a
pianist in the band Crazy Cube.
Currently I am studying in my last year of Master at the
Conservatorium Maastricht in the Netherlands with Valerie Debaele, which I will
conclude in June this year with my Final Master Recital.
Not only am I a perfoming musician, but I am also a passionate flute teacher. I started my teaching journey in 2015, where I started conducting a children’s orchestra. Since three years I am teaching flute lessons at the Conservatoire du Nord in Ettelbruck & Diekirch in Luxembourg, where I adore teaching both children and teenagers, as well as adults. I am also participating in the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Luxembourg as flute teacher and choir conductor since three years.
Music has always been a way for me to connect, inspire, and grow. Whether on stage or in the classroom, I strive to share my love for music and continue evolving as an artist.
